Security for the execution of forwarding orders
For all road transport Condor takes out CMR-insurance cover with a first class insurance underwriter. Furthermore we take over the forwarding and risk insurance (SVS/RVS) for orders of our clients.
Complementary security with transport insurance
Transport insurance is one of our standard features. In case of a claim the forwarding agent’s insurance refunding implies the forwarding agent’s responsibility, but the guarantees of a carrier are limited. Too often the claimant is in the situation that neither the forwarding insurance nor the carrier’s guarantee is applicable. This is why we recommend taking out transport insurance.
It can be arranged by the forwarding agent.
The final purpose of regular insurance for transported goods is the replacement up to the extent of the contracted conditions and the replacement of a loss
Forwarding insurance taken out for the right amount and with the agreed coverage can even include the complete replacement of goods transported, in case of a claim. Consequently, suitable insurance protection can not only provide replacement but also avoid any difficulties that could arise between contracting parties, the forwarding agent and/or the carrier.
